“You shall teach [these words] diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.” (Deuteronomy 6:7, ESV)
God is clear on the need for every child to be taught His Word, and that the primary educator should be the parents. Schools and educators outside of the family can never replace parents, and parents need to know how to make the most of whatever schooling option they choose. Mayday! will provide an opportunity for parents to evaluate many different schooling options in the Sioux Falls area, including some options with which you may not be familiar. Representatives of public, private, non-traditional and home education options will present for ten minutes each, followed by a time for interaction and visiting. Child care will be provided.
