A timely exercise. Does "it" get better?

Sometimes I see something in the public arena right before or right after a preach a message about it.  I love it when that happens, because it is an exercise to help us apply what we have learned on a certain topic.

That happened again this week. The Argus Leader ran a piece churches' response to same sex issues. You heard my message on the topic (if not, it's available here, and you need to understand the topic well). Now take a look at the other side- people in churches who heartily approve of same sex behavior.

I won't tell you what to look for- check it out yourself. Comment on what you see- good and bad. I'll write a followup to synthesize your thoughts and show you where certain fallacies are committed.

By the way, the author (Jill Callison) has done a good job with faith and values issues in Sioux Falls. She has always been fair to me in interviews and accurate when she has quoted me. Remember that she is just reporting on what's happening.

It's our job to do some interpretation. Read on!

Go serve your King,
PW
